Happy Pepero day! Some of my best friends are Korean, and I've learned some of their culture here and there. One of my favorite things I've learned is that November 11th is "Pepero Day", named after the chocolate-dipped cookie snack. Pepero day is similar to Valentine's Day, and you give these snacks to your friends, family, and maybe even your crush. Of course, I love any excuse to eat delicious treats. I made my own Pepero sticks with pretzels and melted chocolate to give away to my friends!
~Melinda
Ingredients:
Long pretzel sticks
Meltable chocolate
Sprinkles/nuts/whatever your heart desires
Parchment paper
I started by microwaving the chocolate for about two minutes. I placed a big glob of chocolate on the parchment paper.
I rolled the pretzel stick around in the chocolate, and created an even coat.
Who doesn't love cookies and cream? You can use any sprinkles/topping of your choice, but I was especially excited to top my pepero sticks with cookies and cream sprinkles.
Don't forget to let your Pepero sticks dry before giving away.
I had random-sized pretzels left over so I made all sorts of mini pepero stick to satisfy cravings large or small.
They seems soooo delicous, wanna eat them!!
