I sometimes worry that my petite frame (5'2"....and a half!) gets swallowed up by maxi dresses, especially when I wear flats. Nevertheless, I love maxi dresses and will never stop wearing them. I loosely tied up my cardigan so that its length is not overpowering and the exposed bottom half of the dress gives me an illusion of being taller.

Street Art Can Be Classy Too

For those of you who don't know, I'm a violinist. By that, I mean that I trained in classical violin and used a chin-rest and shoulder-rest to keep my violin gently wedged between my chin and shoulder. Then I saw this busker (pictured below) using what I now call the casually-playing-violin-with-my-fanny-pack-no-big-deal method. I'm now rethinking my entire 14 years of violin experience. Have I been doing it wrong this whole time???
